Hoax of the Century

The Cardiff Giant was the figure of a man, 10 feet 4-1/2 inches tall, carved out of gypsum and surreptitiously buried on the farm of a Syracuse, NY suburb called Cardiff.  When it was found in 1869 by a farmer drilling a well, it was immediately promoted as the petrified remains of a giant who populated the earth at one time as described in Genesis.

Cigar maker George Hull put the scheme together and made a fortune from people gullible enough to pay to see it.

In the 20th century, the Loch Ness Monster brought tourism to this Scottish location by people hoping for a glimpse of this mammoth pre-historic throwback to the age of dinosaurs.

21st Century Hoax
And now we have our twenty-first century hoax – man made climate change which is a real brain – buster. This is the ‘love child’ of ‘environmentalists’ who have never produced a cup of drinking water or treated a single toilet flush and the political power lust of individuals who are bent on regulating every function in our lives.  Whereas Cardiff and Loch Ness only cost the gullible and the curious little more than a trip to the movie and a box of popcorn, climate change has wreaked world-wide economic havoc.

But isn’t it ‘settled science’?  Google “climate change deniers”; at the time of this writing, Google says it got 1,880,000 results.  There have been a number of books written on the subject of climate change denial by many highly respected climatologists familiar with the physics of weather.  Why don’t we hear about them?  Because the mainstream media, who wouldn’t know a molecule from a molar, agree politically with the goofs who perpetrate this stuff on us for their own ends.

When I began to look into this a few years ago, I was predisposed to accept man made climate change as a valid science, only because of all the hype.  I have a degree in civil engineering and am a 40-year environmental professional which does not make me a climatological expert, but I have the background to evaluate technical things of this nature and it soon became obvious that the whole scenario of flooded coasts and dead polar bears was completely contrived.  And the cover ups are so clumsy that the perpetrators know that it is bogus or they have IQ’s of jelly fish.

Hoax Highlights

  • U.N. charters the IPCC to determine what to do about man made global warming without even checking for its existence.
  • High CO2 concentrations in ice core samples offered evidence of GW until closer examination showed they were a result, not a cause.
  • U.N. originally published a temperature curve showing 13th century warmest in history. They later claimed the 20th century as the warmest and fabricated the ‘hockey stick’ curve to support their claim.
  • MMGW direct cause of 31 million jobs lost globally.

I won’t go into any more detail here but I have written extensively on the subject.  A good summary of the technical aspects can be read in my ebook, “Adrift – A Journey to George Orwell’s 1984” available on Amazon.

On the jacket of Christopher Booker’s book, “The Real Global Warming Disaster”, is a quote by Professor Richard Lindzen, described as The World’s Leading Atmospheric Physicist and Climate Scientist in 2007, “Future generations will wonder in bemused amazement that the early 21st century’s developed world went into hysterical panic over a globally averaged temperature increase of a few tenths of a degree and on the basis of gross exaggerations of highly uncertain computer projections combined into implausible chains of inference, proceeded to contemplate a roll-back of the industrial age.”
